Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Neya (neya.ink), a chat service with fictional AI companion characters. Neya is operated by a private individual based in Georgia (the country) — referred to below as "we" or "us". By using Neya you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Content Policy.

1. Adults only

Neya is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to view sexually explicit material where you live. If you are not, do not use Neya. We remove accounts we believe belong to minors.

2. The characters are AI

Neya, Lynne and Jayde are fictional characters. Their messages, photos, videos and voice notes are generated by AI models. They are not real people, no real person is writing to you, and any resemblance to a real person is unintended. The characters can be wrong, inconsistent or say things that are not true. Nothing they say is professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological or otherwise).

Neya is entertainment. It is not a substitute for human relationships or for professional help. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.

3. Pre-alpha, invite-only

Neya is an early, invite-only test. Features may change, break or disappear, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may limit usage (for example a daily number of messages, photos or videos) to keep costs under control. Neya is currently free; if paid features are introduced, their terms will be shown before you pay.

4. Your account

• One person per account. Keep access to your email secure — it is your login.
• You are responsible for what you send from your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the menu in the chat ("Delete my account"). This erases your chats and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow the Content Policy. In short: no content involving minors or characters who appear to be minors, no sexual or degrading content about real, identifiable people, nothing illegal, and no attempts to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may refuse requests, remove content, and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, and we may report apparent child sexual abuse material or other serious crimes to the relevant authorities.

6. Content

You keep whatever rights you have in the messages you write. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service for you (including sending them to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy). Generated content is provided for your personal, private use. Do not use it to impersonate anyone, and do not present it as depicting a real person.

7. No warranty

Neya is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Neya. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending

You can stop using Neya and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or shut down the service; where reasonable we will give notice so you can stop using it first.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. When the change matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Neya.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
