Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
Neya (neya.ink) is operated by a private individual based in Georgia (the country), who is the controller of your personal data. This page explains what we store, why, who processes it for us, and how to delete it. Contact: hello@neya.ink.
What we store
- Account data — your email address, the date you signed up, and when you confirmed you are 18+ and accepted our terms. If you requested access, also the name and note you left on the request form.
- Chat history — the messages you send and the characters' replies, per character.
- Generated media — photos, videos and voice notes created in your chats, and a log of what was generated for you.
- Memory ("facts") — short notes the characters keep so they remember you between conversations: things you told them, such as your name, interests, plans and, if you shared them, intimate preferences. This can include sensitive information about your sex life. It is used only to personalise your conversations.
- Usage and safety data — daily counters (messages, photos, videos), technical logs, and records of messages flagged by our safety checks.
- Browser storage — your login session (cookies) and a few small preferences in your browser (for example which stories you have seen). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To run the service: log you in, deliver your chats and generate replies and media.
- To personalise conversations, using your chat history and memory.
- To keep Neya safe and legal: enforce the 18+ requirement and the Content Policy, prevent abuse, and apply usage limits.
- To fix bugs and improve quality (we may review conversations for this, including flagged ones).
- To email you about your access or account. No marketing emails without your consent.
Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (running the service), your explicit consent for sensitive information you choose to share (you can withdraw it by deleting that chat or your account), and our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use the following providers to run Neya. They process data on our behalf, and some are located outside Georgia (mainly in the United States and the EU).
- Supabase — database and login (email, profile, memory, logs).
- Vercel — hosting of the website.
- n8n — self-hosted by us; orchestrates chats and stores chat history.
- Anthropic — AI model that writes character replies (receives conversation context).
- fal.ai and RunPod — AI image and video generation (receive generation prompts).
- ElevenLabs — voice generation (receives the text to be spoken).
- Bunny CDN — storage and delivery of generated media files.
- Resend — sending login and access emails.
Providers receive only what is needed to produce a reply or a file. We use them under their business/API terms and, where a provider offers the choice, opt out of your data being used to train their models. Some providers keep request data for a limited time for abuse monitoring.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Daily counters and technical logs are kept for a short time. When you delete a chat or your account, the data is deleted from our database and from n8n right away; copies in backups and at providers expire on their normal schedules. Generated media files on our CDN are not yet removed automatically when you delete your account; their links are not published anywhere, and we will delete them on request.
Your rights and deleting everything
- Delete a chat — "Clear chat" erases that conversation and the character's memory of it.
- Delete your account — "Delete my account" in the chat menu erases your chats with every character, their memory of you, your media log, usage counters and your login.
- You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to or restrict processing. Write to hello@neya.ink. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia or your local data protection authority.
Adults only
Neya is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we delete it and its data.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Neya.
